Definitions

• Service: the FlatLabs web application available at flatsgenerator.com.
• User ("you"): any person accessing or using the Service.
• FREE tier: downloading SVG technical flats at no cost, after providing an email address.
• PRO tier: downloading SVG technical flats together with a Tech Pack PDF, on a paid per-download basis.
• Output: any file (SVG, PDF, etc.) generated by you using the Service.

Nature of the Service

FlatLabs is a software tool that assists users in creating technical fashion flats and Tech Pack documents. It applies industry-standard references (such as ISO body measurements) but is not a technical audit, quality control, certification, or legal compliance service. It is a creative and technical assistance tool, nothing more.

Disclaimer of Warranties

• User responsibility: You are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy of measurements, materials, construction details and any other technical information generated by the Service before using it for production, manufacturing or any commercial purpose.
• No guarantee of results: We do not guarantee that Outputs comply with the specific regulations of every country, nor that they will result in defect-free manufactured garments.
• Industry standards: References to ISO standards or other industry norms within Outputs are provided as helpful technical defaults. They do not constitute certification, and the user must independently verify their applicability.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, FlatLabs, its operator and any affiliated party shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or special damages, including but not limited to:

• Manufacturing errors or production defects
• Financial losses, lost profits or lost business opportunities
• Damage to brand reputation
• Disputes with third parties (manufacturers, distributors, customers, regulators)
• Inaccuracies in generated measurements, materials or construction notes

This limitation applies regardless of the legal basis of the claim (contract, tort, negligence or otherwise) and even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Where mandatory consumer protection law prohibits the exclusion of certain liabilities, our total liability for any claim shall in any case be limited to the amount you paid us during the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Intellectual Property

Our Property

The Service, including its name, logo, source code, SVG component library, mannequin assets, design system and underlying technology, is the exclusive property of FlatLabs and is protected by intellectual property law. Nothing in these Terms grants you any ownership over these elements.

Your Outputs

You retain full ownership of the technical flats and Tech Pack documents you generate using the Service. We claim no rights over your Outputs and grant you a worldwide, perpetual, royalty-free license to use them for any lawful purpose, including commercial use.

Your Inputs

You warrant that any text, image, logo or other element you upload to or generate within the Service is owned by you or properly licensed, and that its use does not infringe the rights of any third party.

Pricing and Payment (PRO tier)

• The price of each Tech Pack PDF download is displayed before purchase and is shown in euros (€), inclusive of all applicable taxes (TVA non applicable, art. 293 B du CGI).
• Payments are processed by Stripe Payments Europe Ltd.. We never receive or store your card details.
• Once payment is confirmed, the Tech Pack PDF is made available for immediate download.
• An electronic receipt is sent to the email address provided at checkout.

Right of Withdrawal — Digital Content

In accordance with Article L.221-28 of the French Consumer Code, you expressly acknowledge and agree that:

• The Tech Pack PDF is digital content delivered immediately upon purchase.
• By proceeding with payment and confirming the checkout, you expressly consent to immediate execution of the contract and waive your 14-day right of withdrawal.

Refund Policy

Refunds may exceptionally be granted in the following cases:

• The Tech Pack PDF could not be delivered due to a technical failure on our side.
• The downloaded file is corrupted or unusable due to a defect in the Service.

To request a refund, contact us at flatsgenerator@gmail.com within 7 days of the purchase, with a description of the issue. Refunds are not granted for change of mind, dissatisfaction with the visual result, or errors in user-provided inputs.

Compliance and Labelling

You are solely responsible for ensuring that any care label, composition label, brand label, marking, symbol or other regulated content included in your Output complies with the labelling laws of every country in which you intend to sell your garments. FlatLabs acts only as a technical assistance tool and assumes no responsibility for regulatory compliance of your final product.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Reverse-engineer, decompile or attempt to extract the source code or proprietary assets of the Service
• Resell, redistribute or sublicense access to the Service or its component library
• Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access the Service without our prior written consent
• Upload content that is illegal, infringing, defamatory, or that contains malware
• Misrepresent the origin of Outputs (e.g. claim that the FlatLabs component library is your own work)

Account and Access Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service, without notice and without refund, in case of breach of these Terms, fraudulent activity, abuse of the Service, or any conduct that may harm us or other users.

Service Availability

We strive to keep the Service available 24/7, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. The Service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or due to factors beyond our control (hosting outages, network issues, force majeure events). We are not liable for any loss resulting from such unavailability.

Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, cyberattacks, third-party service failures (e.g. Netlify, Stripe), strikes, government actions, or armed conflicts.

Personal Data

The processing of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced on the Service and the "Last updated" date will be revised. Your continued use of the Service after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service.

Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by French law. In case of dispute, you and FlatLabs agree to first attempt an amicable resolution by contacting flatsgenerator@gmail.com.

Consumers domiciled in the European Union may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

If no amicable solution is reached, any dispute shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent French courts, subject to mandatory provisions of consumer protection law that may grant jurisdiction to the consumer's place of residence.
